Judith Carey, MPA, is President of Carey & Associates, a Long Beach based education, workforce development, and nonprofit management consulting company. With a focus on fund development, Carey & Associates also delves into program development, organizational management, quality assurance, and public relations. Ms. Carey is faculty at CSULB in the College of Health and Human Services, teaching their premier grant proposal writing class that has been offered for over a decade. She is a nationally certified family literacy trainer for the National Center for Family Literacy located in Louisville, Kentucky. Ms. Carey put down her fund development roots beginning in 1998 through welfare reform and hasn’t stopped since. She is native of Long Beach and volunteers time serving on local nonprofit boards and helping various Long Beach organizations.
