Short Description of Provider, Organization and Services:

Richard “Rico” Peralta has 10 years of experience working in youth programs. He has served in many capacities over the years. From the front lines as an activities facilitator; site coordinator; and program director; to offering administrative support as evaluator; trainer and now Program Development, Director. Rico feels blessed to have been granted so many opportunities within the field of youth development in out of school time as it has helped him develop a 360 degree perspective on what it takes to develop and sustain high quality afterschool programs. Having the experience of launching new programs as well as making over existing ASES and 21st CCLC programs has also helped in shaping a career based on the experience of doing.

Rico is interested in using this online medium to connect with old friends and colleagues from throughout the state and establish new relationships with other providers supporting the field of youth development in out of school time.
