I have worked in the afterschool arena for 8 years serving as the program coordinator for an elementary school district with five sites serving approximately 500 students per day. I have had the responsibility of implementing new programs, providing/arranging staff development, submitting all required reports (both under 21st CCLC and ASES), preparing budgets, developing policies and program forms, conducting the community collaboration meetings, and attending all meetings and conferences for the district. In addition I am a CalSAC trainer and am also trained to provide the Youth Development training designed by WestEd. I also review material for the California Resource Center lending library. I have served on state committees for both the California Resource Center and the California Afterschool Network Organization - currently a member of the Nutrition and Physical Activity committee.
