Keenon has been involved within the field of administration, counseling, education, and prevention for nearly ten years. He has extensive experience with program evaluation and assessment in order to improve program performance and enhance what is already working. The goal of any successful youth development program is to provide the best quality services which meets the needs of students. Keenon's aim is to increase the development and capacity of youth programs throughout the state by working with key stakeholders to possibly increase funding, connect local resources, develop a program plan, and build on what is working well. Keenon holds a Baccalaureate degree in psychology and Masters degree in public administration from California State University, Stanislaus.
